Patrick SANVILLE, Founder and President of FUNDOTEL, has extensive experience in hotel real estate and is a recognized figure in the European markets, particularly in France. Patrick began his career in mergers and acquisitions at a Swiss financial institution. In 1980, he joined the Accor Group, where he was quickly promoted to Director of International Development. He played a vital role in the Group's expansion in Europe and later in the United States, where he served as President of the Ibis brand. In 1992, he founded the hotel real estate consultancy SP & Partners, successfully merging it with CB Richard Ellis Hotels in 2000. In 2007, BNP Paribas Real Estate acquired SP & Partners and established a European product line dedicated to hotels, which Patrick SANVILLE managed until mid-2013.
His numerous accomplishments range from selling prestigious individual assets, such as the Marriott Champs Elysées and the Prince de Galles, to divesting hotel portfolios like the Jardins de Paris chain from the Accor Group and the Timhotel chain from the Whitehall fund. He has also conducted valuations of hotel portfolios for groups such as Louvre Hotels, Lone Star, Accor, and Covivio. Since 2014,FUNDOTEL is in charge of the development of MEININGER hostel chain in France. Patrick also acts in an asset management capacity for the selection of franchisor and operator on behalf of family offices
He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Paris and an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
Since 2019, Adrien has been a partner at FUNDOTEL, where he has worked alongside Patrick SANVILLE on over €300 million in hotel transactions in Europe, contributed to the development of nearly 1,000 rooms for brands and developers, and assessed over €3 billion in hotel assets.
Adrien joined the FUNDOTEL team in 2015 after two years at MKG Hospitality Group in Paris, where he deepened his knowledge of the hospitality industry. He holds an MBA in Hospitality Management from ESSEC Paris, specializing in real estate, corporate finance, and business strategy, as well as a Bachelor's degree in International Hospitality Management from Vatel Institute.
Kouros joined FUNDOTEL in 2023 after working at Interface Conseil, a consulting firm specializing in office real estate. This experience provided him with in-depth knowledge of drafting specifications, strategic analysis, and performance audits of service providers. He further enhanced his understanding of the hospitality industry through operational internships in hotels and restaurants, including the technical department of the luxury boutique hotel The Mercer in New York.
Kouros earned his Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the École Hôtelière de Lausanne in 2022, which gives him a broad perspective on the hospitality sector, business strategy, finance, and hotel asset management. He also holds a certificate in hotel analysis from the American Hotel & Lodging Association and a certificate in advanced lodging and tourism industry analysis from STR.
